There are several ways to support the Mitchell County Public Library. The Friends of the Mitchell County Public Library are the main supporters of the library. The Friends holds booksales and help with other events throughout the year such as Trick-or-Treat Around Town and Santa's visit to the library. The Friends are always looking for new members and ways to volunteer for the library.

Volunteers are always welcome to come to the library and help with projects around the library.

Materials donations are accepted as long as items are in good condition. Friends of the Library also accepts monetary donations.

Memorials and/or donations in honor of a person are made directly to the library.

You can also support the library by coming to the library to use our services and by spreading the word around the community about the library. Lastly, you can support the library by talking with the county commissioners about the importance of the library in the community.
